The Fluke GFL-1500 Solar Ground Fault Locator helps technicians quickly identify and locate active ground faults in solar photovoltaic systems. Fluke designed this three-piece system to reduce troubleshooting time, improve safety, and minimise downtime in utility-scale and commercial solar installations.

Using FaultTrack™ Technology, the GFL-1500 generates a traceable signal that follows the fault path directly to the point of failure. As a result, technicians can locate faults without relying on time-consuming manual testing or detailed site documentation.

The system includes a transmitter, receiver, and signal tracing clamp. In addition, non-contact signal tracing allows users to identify faulted strings and pinpoint faults while reducing exposure to electrical hazards.

Integrated diagnostic functions include Analyse, Fault Trace, Open Circuit, and Mapping modes. These features help technicians locate ground faults, identify wiring breaks, estimate fault locations, and verify string layouts in complex PV arrays.
