Megger SVERKER 900 LPIT101 – Testing Relays with LPIT Inputs

Megger SVERKER 900 LPIT101 – Testing Relays with LPIT Inputs

Key Features:

  • Converts SVERKER900 voltage/current outputs to low-level signals (typically mV range) compatible with LPIT relays.
  • Supports testing of relays using IEC 61850-9-2 sampled values or analogue low-level inputs.
  • High-resolution, low-noise output for reliable minimum pickup, timing, and characteristic verification.
  • Simple plug-and-play connection to SVERKER 900 terminals.
  • Compact and lightweight design for easy field or lab use.

The Megger SVERKER 900 LPIT101 is a patented adapter developed specifically for protection relays equipped with low-power instrument transformer (LPIT) inputs. It precisely emulates the output signals from Rogowski coils (LPCT) and voltage dividers (LPVT). Consequently, it reliably reproduces frequency variations, harmonics, transient events, and steady-state conditions in accordance with IEC 60255-121 requirements. Additionally, the adapter supports both Prefault-Fault testing and ramp-of-shots sequences. This compatibility extends seamlessly to all SVERKER 900 MkI and MkII units. As a result, engineers achieve consistent, high-fidelity test outcomes without custom signal generators or complex calibration routines. Overall, the LPIT101 streamlines commissioning and maintenance procedures while enhancing diagnostic reliability in modern substation environments.
