Key Features:
The Fluke PRV240 FS Proving Unit provides a safe and convenient way to verify the operation of Fluke T6 Electrical Testers and other compatible test instruments. Fluke designed this portable device specifically to prove the functionality of FieldSense™ measurements while supporting Test Before Touch (TBT) safety procedures.
The PRV240 FS generates a stable 240 V AC or DC output for verifying voltage measurement performance before and after live testing. As a result, technicians can confirm that their test equipment operates correctly without relying on a known live source.
A dedicated central hub allows direct testing of the T6 open-fork FieldSense™ function. In addition, recessed probe contacts support conventional voltage verification with test leads while helping prevent accidental contact.
The unit uses a simple selector switch and LED indicators to confirm operating status and output voltage presence. Therefore, users can perform verification checks quickly and confidently in the field.
The compact design weighs only 0.32 kg and includes a TPAK magnetic hanging strap for hands-free operation. Furthermore, four AA batteries provide up to 2,000 test cycles, helping reduce maintenance requirements.
The PRV240 FS complies with IEC 61010-1 and IEC 61010-2-030 safety standards and helps reduce exposure to shock and arc-flash hazards during instrument verification. Consequently, it offers a practical solution for electrical safety testing and FieldSense™ validation.
