The Megger Centrix Evolution serves as a comprehensive, Linux-based system for cable fault location, testing, and diagnostics, available in single- or three-phase configurations starting at 80 kV. It automates processes via motorised HV switches, covering DC hipot, radar-based prelocation, surge pinpointing, and sheath fault methods. Optional expansions add VLF cosine-rectangular or sine wave testing up to 60 kVRMS, alongside DAC and Slope for PD-monitored assessments. Data handling uses MeggerBook 3 with USB/cloud sync, while robust safety includes inherent discharging, RCD protection, and wide environmental tolerance from -25°C to +55°C.
